Luke had surgery a week ago to finish up with his birthmark. We are finally done for a long time! Mom and Dad are really proud of him.
Daddy teaching Luke how to fly a kite!
Luke kept letting the string go because he liked seeing daddy run after it. He is such a stinker!
Reading Papa's book.....He knows a good book when he sees one:)
We took Luke to the zoo to see all his favorite animals. He is obsessed with giraffes, elephants and zebras. They didn't have any elephants out yet but Luke thought he saw a baby elephant (it was actually an ant eater, but we didn't tell him:)
Daddy and son
Trying to give the polar bear knuckles...Luke tried to give all the animals knuckles, even the Tigers. Thank goodness for the moats.
The polar bears gave everyone a great show. They were playing with this ball and everyone was loving it!
Luke loves his daddy.
Taking a picture with the rhino. Click on the picture and you can see Luke's smile.
oh Shar he's so cute! how is he doing with those arm thingies? They seem like they would be annoying! And that was a really cool viewing tunnel for the polar bears. they had something like that at Sea World to view the sharks but we didn't wait in line!
I can totally see how an anteater would look like a baby elephant! Great pics- looks like a fun time! Can't wait to get together this summer when you get settled in!
Kev and Sharon - what a blast seeing the zoo through Lukey-do's eyes. He looks like he is adjusting well! Can't wait for you to get closer to home! And what about the 2 legs under the Rhino??!! a little pale! XOXO Zia
Thanks for the cute pictures! I always loved the bear fountain at the Zoo! I bet Luke was so excited! I'm really going to miss you guys when you move :o( You're going to have to change the blog now for your friends in Michigan! Love, DQ

Great pictures Sharon. It must be fun to show him all the animals. I love how he thought one animal was another. :)
