update 6

Well I've been trying to do the video blog thing, but I've had bad connections and a few technical difficulties.

As for the Pastor's conference, it was absolutely, positively incredible. It was very moving. The African pastors in South Africa are very motivated and passionate about spreading the gospel properly. They are under a lot of cultural pressure to lean towards the charismatic direction, but even still, they were all amazing in their knowledge and passion.  Of course, Pastor Dickie noticeably moved a lot of men present at the conference. He's already heard good reports from people after the event.  His testimony was inspiring and his preaching very instructional. He received a number of "Wow, that was incredible"s. If leaders can get on the right track in South Africa, the country might have a chance at producing proper thinking that will lead to proper results.  And it starts with their pastors.  Right now, the people don't know what they don't know.  It was a good conference. I would say most of them were reformed evangelicals, or at least aspiring in that direction. I'd love to share more details, but I've got to jet. I'm using someone else's computer. Ciao!

You look pretty happy for a man who is about to have a "near death " experience :o) Glad you survived! I agree with Brandi's question. Really which is safer, you in Detroit or South Africa? Deb Q.
