After a rough start, the hospital finally let Luke go home with us. He is a fantastic baby! He is not too fussy and is already on a decent schedule. Luke is very alert and already has an interest in Spud.
I can't believe it's already been a week. Sharon is slowly getting used to the pains of sleep deprivation, but hopefully in a month or so, we'll get Luke to sleep through the night. My mother is in town for the week to give us some much needed assistance. She's already starting to experiment with some new hair styles for Luke.
Luke loves his mom and dad. He's a sweet boy. He's already been nicknamed the little Bandit because of his birthmark under his eye. He hasn't started playing, but he's very curious about his surroundings. I wish he came with an instruction manual, but we're learning as we go. Babies are absolutely amazing!

No doubt he is Sharon's grandson, he looks like her so much when she was a baby! Check out some of her baby pictures. He is darling and looks like he should be 2 months old, so alert and strong.
So, Kevin: how many times have you said "Luke, I am your father"! Ha! Ha! He is one cool little boy. Cherish the moments because all to soon they grow up. I can't wait to see him for real. I know you and Sharon are going to be great parents. I will keep you both in my prayers and It's going to be fun to watch him grow.

I have been out of pocket for a few days and couldn't wait to see the updated pics. He is a handsome boy! I know every day is a learning experience for you both. I can't wait to meet the little bandit and am so glad that he and Spud are becoming buds. I hope you had a wonderful "first" father's day!
