It's a boy!

Meet Luke Prescott Leroy Joe Jim Bob Thompson. Since Sharon and I are at odds with boy names, I figured we'd use them all. Seriously, everything is great with our baby. He's the perfect size for his stage in development and all the right pieces are in place. We saw the heart beat and saw the four ventricles, we obviously saw his pecker (which comprised of half of his body weight:), we saw his femur bone, foot, hand, face, spine and brain. It was amazing! He kept moving his arms during the ultrasound because he was irritated by the nurse's pressure. Sharon is doing wonderfully. She couldn't sleep last night because she was so excited.

After the ultrasound, we went to our doctor's office and he said everything is perfect. He's a good doctor and we'll miss him after we leave for Michigan. Today, Sharon and I are going to Baby's R Us to register for.....stuff. Beyond boobs and a bassinet, I don't know what else the kid needs. Thank goodness Sharon has experience in this field.

Already, I can tell he's a handsome lad and I can't wait to meet him. Check out the video. I put some ultrasound pictures at the end for you all to see. Enjoy!

I like the name Cooter. Cooter Francis Thompson. It has a nice ring to it.

We are so excited to him. Madeline votes for Omar Thompson. At least consider it.

You will soon find out that boobs and a bassinet only really work for the first few weeks of life.

"First few weeks of life?" I wonder if I can stretch it out for the first year?
